Outdoor Living
When I was a kid in the 1950’s and a teenager in the 1960’s, I spent as much time as I could outdoors. I had to come in for dinner or to do homework. Now kids (and their parents) spend much more time indoors with computers, TV, video games, working from home, etc. I also don’t remember people having decks. They had backyards and porches. And I don’t remember people having fire pits. We went camping a lot and built a fire at the camp site or at a beach party. So what is it about decks and fire pits now that make them so popular? The trend is outdoor living closer to home.
This web site is new in December of 2021. Over time it will offer much more information about decks, decking products and companies, how decks are built, ideas and options. It will also be a great source of information about fire pits and fire tables, about natural gas and propane vs. wood as fuel and much more. So please come back from time to time to see what's new.
